Dreaming about her dead son frequently before her grandson is about to work abroad, grandma and her grandson embark on a journey to find a psychic.

Story of a struggling middle-class private tutor, who faces an identity crisis that reveals the social reality to his son.

March 2020, Yerevan, capital of Armenia. 230 meters underground, in the Avan salt mine, men and women walk to breathe easier. Physical activities and medical consultations set the rhythm of the timeless world of this underground clinic, where lives intersect and stories are told.

In the summer of the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Qin Huai, who will soon be 10 years old, accidentally learns that his good friend He Zhijie's father is seriously sick. He Zhijie’s family is poor and couldn’t afford the treatment fee. In order to help his friend, Qin Huai asks his parents for the money of selling their apartment as his birthday present.

A Mother-daughter relationship portrayed through the life of Dr.Lekshmi, who has a tough time managing her professional and personal life, especially as it becomes more challenging with the recent turn of events.

2) The Roka

What happens when a bride-to-be realizes that a ghost from her past has returned to be a part of her present?

3) A Conclusion

In a dilemma where one is faced with a choice between the past and the future, the past often has to make way for the future, despite the pain it causes.

A young man tries to overcome his mediocre life, finds himself trapped in his own manoeuvre.

5) Ladybird

Dir : Rahul Kumar Singh; 17.42 min

This is the Story of a boy who wants a Ranger cycle but his mother instructs him to use his Sister's, lady cycle. This leads him to go through various insecurities.

6) Aalo / The Light

Dir : Soham Kundu; 20 min

BOY is assumed dead, leaving MOTHER and SISTER alone in the house to navigate through the grief of his unnatural disappearance/death. They slowly start descending into delirium. SISTER tries to emulate the behavioural traits of her dead brother (BOY) for eg, smoking like him where as MOTHER starts talking to herself or the LIGHT (becomes highly delusional).

7) The Tipping Point

Nisha (25), is preparing for some competitive exams, It's her 3rd attempt. Her results are declared. She is anxious. Anyhow she gathers the courage to face it. she finds that she fails again. Rather than facing failure, she opts for suicide.

1) Crescent

Dir : Fazil Razak; 19.04 min

Anshiya, a young women lady who wants to continue her studies, is forced by her family and community to get married. With very little time in front of her, she needs to make a move immediately.

2) Chhoti Si Baat

Dir : Kabir Shah; 10.47 min

While everyone is caught up with the struggle to keep themselves safe from the lethal virus, a chance encounter between a boy and a girl brings out the true vulnerability of human beings.

3) Chhaya

Dir : Utsav; 15 min

It is a periodic film set in 1980 in India in which The story revolves around Rakesh, whose life takes a difficult turn of events after his second marriage. He is trapped between his second wife, his children and a well that was built on mortage.

4) Kulup

Dir : Sadnyesh Ramdas Ghuge; 13.48 min

The story of Kulup (The Lock) is based on a simple idea of how important closures are in life. You just can’t lock it in your past. Open it, accept it, share it, and you might just be able to live with it. 

5) Around

Dir : Anandakrishnan KS; 15 min

Pandemic times. Maya lives a fiercely independent, content life with her mother, earning a living from a job she loves. No one including her mother understands her obsession with the cranky, noisy fan in her room. For her, the noise opens up a doorway of sleep, to her past, her memory.

6) All that is Lost

For seven years , a nameless woman remembers her beloved in her daily chores. She mourns her loss in every way . Her life is nothing but a relic of the past . One day , she decides to start a new life from this vicious cycle of lamenting and melancholy .

When Renu, a lawyer, questions another woman's decision to withdraw a court case, she comes to terms with her own dilemma that threatens to take her world apart.

8) The Unowned House

Dir : Kallol Mukherjee; 15 min

Gurmeet and her son Sukhvinder travel to her maternal house after years to sell it off for Gurmeet's cancer treatment. The house brings all her nostalgia back. The pain of the Sikh riots becomes fresh. 

9) Inside

Dir : Jinesh VS; 14.04 min

The movie is about A 25-year-old girl, Aaru explores the underlying thrusts, 

senses, and insinuations of her psyche during the lockdown period. 

She finds comfort in the presence of her friend.

1) Land of Women
Dir : Marion Gaborit ; 77.19 min; France 

"Land of women" tell the story of five women farmers around the world, working the land, which plays a key role in the planet’s food production. A tribute to some of these women, invisible but essential links in the chain who ensure subsistence agriculture every day and everywhere on earth.

2) Emergence : Out of Shadows
Dir : Vinay Giridhar; 79.58 min; Canada

For Kayden, Jag, and Amar, awakening to and expressing their sexuality within conservative South Asian families was a lonely and terrifying experience. Denial, shame and despair haunted their youths, even threatening their lives. Yet, they’ve emerged. In the feature documentary Emergence: Out of the Shadows, the disparate journeys of Kayden, Jag and Amar converge around a shared sense of compassion and healing as they bravely convey their often heart-wrenching stories.

3) Incomplete Sentences
Dir : Adar Bozbay; 58.05 min; Turkey

Aslı Erdoğan, world-renowned author and activist, has fallen into silence after she fled to Germany. Incomplete Sentences is a feature documentary on her literature and life, leading to exile in Frankfurt, after the Turkish regime’s oppression results in her unlawful imprisonment.

4) The Last Man

‘The Last Man’ aims to show the ground reality through everyday life of manual scavengers engaged in different types of manual scavenging, endangering and losing their lives in cleaning the choked sewers, and manholes in India.

5) Kalashnikov Society
Dir : Christophe Karabache ; 54 min; Lebanon   

Beirut, right after the August 4th explosion….

Trails of life, torn out of a burdensome and peculiar daily existence, interweaving melancholia, wanderings, endurance and anger, of several people, living in a country on the edge of the abyss.

The setting up of a solo performance, the outbreak of revolt, the collective clamor of the marches. Art, organization and rage against the genocide of black people. An audiovisual manifesto recorded between 2008 and 2016, in Salvador and Rio de Janeiro.

7) Nasima
Dir : Heather Kissinger; 85.20 min; United States / Bangladesh

A little girl’s dream of riding the waves threatens to change the course of history for an entire nation. 

Selling trinkets on the beach, 7 year old Nasima’s attention is caught by something out on the water and immediately she is transfixed: surfing has come to Bangladesh. Nasima instantly knows what she wants and that is to surf the waves. She will become the first female surfer in Bangladesh, a place where women don’t even swim in public, let alone ride waves.

Benny Haneman the director takes up his camera to explore the love, sadness, jealousy and loyalty that exists between him, his father and his older brother Gidi, who has a complex combination of special needs. For the first time, Haneman comes face to face with the fact that it is his childhood perception of his brother that informs their relationship today.

9) Ushiku
Dir : Thomas Ash; 87 min; Japan 

“Ushiku” takes viewers deep into the psychological and physical environment inhabited by foreign detainees in one of the largest immigration detention facilities in Japan. On the eve of Japan's recent--and highly contentious--immigration reform efforts, the filmmaker eludes press embargoes the government has imposed on its immigration facilities, bringing viewers into immediate contact with the detainees, many of whom are refugees seeking asylum

Life is going on in Dakhla, one of the Sahrawi refugee camps in southern Algeria, forgotten for 45 years. The celebration of a film festival, the Fisahara, breaks the monotony. The event ends, life (and oblivion) continues.

11) If We Told the Truth

"If we told the truth" travels from Vienna to Copenhagen, Malta to Amsterdam and South Italy to Berlin with the goal to understand what can be done to react to a culpable torpor, a mass denial that touches us all.

If we told the truth is a journey involving students, teachers, journalists, magistrates, businessmen, artists and educators who strive to envisage a new path to a world finally free from the virus of organised crime.
